"JUNE" is a collaboration with Lauren's good friend, Ben Suyat. It has a rich indie sound with a touch of neo-soul, topped with a nature vibe.
Lauren and Ben began writing original music while at the School of Rock in Aurora, Colorado, staying after weekly House Band rehearsals to work out their tunes.
Lauren finds inspiration from Emily King, Amber Navran of Moonchild, Joni Mitchell, and Amy Winehouse, while Ben pulls influence from artists as Steely Dan, John Mayer, and the Grateful Dead.
Lauren recently returned to her family's Colorado farm from Hollywood, California, where she made it to the Knockout Rounds on Season 19 of NBC's, "The Voice", on Teams Gwen and Legend.
